Best Value Snacks for the Disney Dining Plan in 2025

Best Value Snacks for the Disney Dining Plan in 2025

The Disney Dining Plan is a fantastic resource for many families and Disney World visitors who have done the math and know that they’ll get tons of use out of pre-paying for your food ahead of time.

Look for the purple “DDP Snack Credit logo” on price signage and menus!

The largest amount of credits you get to use are snack credits, which can be used at a majority of snack carts and restaurants around the parks. In fact, the VAST majority of Disney World restaurants and carts have eligible snacks, but not EVERY snack on the menu will be eligible, if that makes sense. When you arrive you will be able to see what is eligible based on the DDP icon on the menu next to the item you’re looking at. You want to make sure you’re making the MOST of your snack credits, so here are the ones we recommend — not only are they delicious, but they cost more than the average snack, but they’re all equal under the DDP, so it’s a steal!

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

While things change all the time in Disney World, we strongly suggest checking for these snacks while you’re on your trip, as it’s likely many of them will be available!

Magic Kingdom

Starting in the flagship park, on Main Street U.S.A. you’ll find some incredible Ice Cream Sundaes at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor that range in price from $7.29-$8.49. Oftentimes, these are large enough to be shareable, but if you’re trying to use up snack credits, grab one for each person and prepare for ice cream overload.

And while we love any Dole Whip at Aloha Isle, the best deal for the Disney Dining Plan in our opinion is the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake topped with DOLE Whip for $6.99. Again, it’s shareable, but if you’ve got the credits, let everyone get their own!

Looking for breakfast that will fill you up, or that you can split between more than one person and use more as a snack? The Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll from Gaston’s Tavern is calling your name, and with the DDP, this $6.99 snack is a great way to feel good about your credit usage.

We’re not saying any other Magic Kingdom snacks are bad, but these are some of our favorites, and to get them at a price that feels free in the moment is EPIC.

EPCOT

There are so many great options included on the DDP at Karamell-Küche in the Germany pavilion, but we have to admit that grabbing the Werther’s Popcorn or the Cookie Sandwiches available are easily the best options. The cookie sandwiches are around $7.79 a piece, while the popcorn will run you $7.99 — definitely one of the best snack DDP deals out there!

More of a savory fan? No worries — the Traditional Poutine from Refreshment Port will run you $7.50 normally, but it’s included with the dining plan! It’s never disappointed us and honestly could be a meal for many people.

If there’s an EPCOT Festival going on while you’re visiting, don’t forget to check for the DDP symbol beside the festival booth offerings, as some of them are available and could be fantastic choices for you and your group.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

One of our favorite sweet treats in Hollywood Studios for a while has been the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Starbucks location in this park. We love how massive this cookie is for $5.49, but getting it (what feels like) for free is the best feeling.

And we can’t forget the massive Funnel Cakes over at Epic Eats! These are VERY much shareable, and we honestly think they’re hard for one person to eat alone. Ranging in price of $7.29-$8.49, this is one of the best snack credit deals you can find in this park.

Funnel Cakes!!

Again, there are tons of snacks in this park that qualify that you may feel are more enticing than these, and that’s totally okay! But we’ve recommended these for years and don’t plan to stop any time soon — we think they’re definitely worth considering!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is FULL of incredible snacks, but one of them really stands out in this category to us. The Pineapple Crisp Sundae at Tamu Tamu Refreshments is in a league of its own. It’ll cost you $6.49, and this one is so good that everyone should definitely get their own!
