The Green and Red Coconut Club has opened at Universal CityWalk Orlando for the 2024 holiday season. The annual Christmas overlay of the Red Coconut Club features themed decorations and cocktails.
Green and Red Coconut Club Tour
The Green and Red Coconut Club is located on the second level of CityWalk. Green and red lights illuminate the club’s exterior. It’s adorned with garland and Mistletoe Pines travel posters.
Trees made of gift boxes are outside. A bench is draped with a cozy blanket. There are snowboards and skis by the door.
In the entryway, guests are greeted by a fake ski lift sitting on a bed of “snow.” Around the lift are illuminated pine trees. A pair of ski poles in front of the lift makes for the perfect photo op.
A sign hanging from the ceiling reads “Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge.” White curtains with string lights hang around the room. Snowflakes are projected onto the scene.
Green garland lines the walls of this seating area.
One shelf on the wall features a Christmas village and a snow globe. Rows of nutcrackers are on other shelves. Paper snowflakes are stuck to the wall. There’s a framed portrait of a reindeer.
String lights crisscross the ceiling and hang from the bar. More curtains and string lights hang behind the bar.
There’s a Super Chexx ice hockey machine available for guests to play.
The red wall behind the bar is covered in paper snowflakes. The Green and Red Coconut Club logo — featuring snow and ice around the words — is on the wall and TV displays.
Retro skiing posters are also on the walls.
There is a photo op with a giant pile of presents and another with a festive archway. Both sit in front of illuminated curtains.
The presents are stacked around a cabinet with drawers full of wrapping supplies.
The archway is made of giant red and green ornaments, holly, and ribbon.
The windows looking into the dance floor are surrounded by garlands with green and red lights.
An antler-inspired chandelier hangs from the ceiling.
Signs above the dance floor entries read “Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge.”
The dance floor is illuminated with icy blue light. Green and blue spotlights circle the space.
The Green and Red Coconut Club logo is projected on the wall.
The DJ is in a booth covered in colorful string lights. There are white Christmas trees around the dance floor.
A giant golden star hangs on the wall next to a mural of Santa’s sleigh flying over snowy mountains. tinsel hangs below the mural. Giant snow globes sit in white blankets behind this bar.
One snow globe features a Christmas tree. Another features the club’s logo.
More snowflakes are on the walls behind bench seats. String lights and snowflakes dangle from the ceiling.
More lights hang from the railings of the second floor, where guests can visit the Coca-Cola Bar.
A bear figure wears a Christmas sweater, hat, scarf, and mittens. He stands next to a wall sconce wrapped in red tinsel. A sled sits on the ground.
Another wall is covered in colorful trees and hanging sweaters.
Guests are encouraged to play available tabletop games.
A fake bridge sits in a bed of snow between booths.
There is some fake wood paneling on the walls of the stairwell. A sign pointing up reads, “Earl’s Tree Farm & Nuthouse.” The sign is wrapped in green and red lights.
An ugly Christmas sweater hanging next to the sign features Gerg (or Greg) the llama. Another sign says this is the “Ski Area Boundary.”
Colorful string lights cross over the stairs and the walls. There are wreaths, candy canes, and more sweaters.
One sweater features a T. rex wearing a Santa hat and lights. It reads, “Tree Rex.” A sign advertises Earl’s Golden Coconuts Scavenger Hunt: there are 12 golden coconuts hidden in the club. Can you find them all?
A surfboard sign reads “Scarlet & Olive’s Holiday Pool Party.” At the bottom, the year “2023” has been altered to “2024.”
Upstairs is a log table and benches across from a faux fireplace. More lights hang along the railings and ceiling.
Stockings are hung from the fireplace. A wreath and acorn garlands are above.
Instead of regular coal in the fireplace, there is a stack of large black acorns.
Along the wall are various squirrel family portraits and a calendar.
Most of the portraits feature realistic squirrels in different situations: selling perennials at a flower stand, with a wagon full of pumpkins, and in front of a fireplace. There’s also a portrait of Gerg and cartoon portraits of Pearl and Earl.
A tiny tree on the mantel features funky ornaments, including a felt version of Earl’s green “I <3 acrosn” sweater.
Jingle bells and pinecones hang on strings across the railings, which are covered in white planks to resemble a white picket fence.
Guests upstairs can see down into the party below.
Around the corner is a Christmas tree, squirrel figure, and shelf full of knick-knacks. The Retro Restrooms are illuminated by string lights.
The shelf’s knick-knacks include a red truck, a nutcracker, gingerbread plush dolls, and tree figures. There are signs wishing happy Kwanzaa and Hanukkah.
A red box full of acorns has a window labeled “In case of emergency, break glass.” There’s an old VHS tape for “A Christmas Story.”
Across from the bar up here is Earl’s Christmas Tree Farm, which guests enter through an archway of panels resembling the doorway of a log cabin.
Winter boots sit on an acorn-shaped welcome mat.
Through the doorway are several Christmas trees wrapped in lights and bells.
A banner hanging in the corner reads “Earl’s Tree Farm.”
At the end of the farm is an upside-down white Christmas tree with red decorations. A llama figure and toy truck sit below the tree.
The windows and doors here are covered in decals showing a starry sky above mountains.
The bar is illuminated by red lights. The Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge logo appears on the screen.
A “Holidays Are Here” Coca-Cola sign points to the bar.
There’s a small white tree on the bar featuring Coca-Cola ornaments.
Another Coca-Cola Christmas tree sits among the seating.
In the back of the room is another wall of squirrel family portraits. These include a pair of squirrels loading a tree into a red truck, and another squirrel encountering a Halloween scene with a skeleton.
The squirrels are also shown making dinner, relaxing on the beach, and playing with toys.
