Best Downtown Disney Restaurants

Warning: this list will induce food cravings!

Quick Service

Starting with quick service locations, we have four restaurants that we regularly dine at when looking for a counter service meal. Since Downtown Disney is just outside the gates of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, take a midday break from the parks and walk to this convenient restaurant and shopping district.

Blue Ribbon Corn Dog

It’s hard to pass up a classic Disneyland Corn Dog, but you can pick up some VERY unique twists on this tasty concoction at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs!

The Classic Dog is made with a kosher, all-beef hot dog. And lots of yummy breading!

Corn Dogs!

When it comes to classic Disneyland snacks, we just can’t resist stopping by this small but popular kiosk. This booth is usually staffed by a single Cast Member, so expect slow service during busy times. Corn dogs definitely earn a spot on our list!

Earl of Sandwich

Not only is it a delicious crowd pleaser, but Earl of Sandwich is also affordable and quick.

Earl of Sandwich

Each toasty sandwich from Earl of Sandwich comes perfectly wrapped in a piece of gold foil labeled with a sticker that marks the type of sandwich you ordered. Our favorite is the Holiday Turkey!

Napolini Pizzeria

If you’re headed back to your Disneyland resort and looking for a quick bite, then stop in and customize a scrumptious pizza at Napolini Pizzeria!

Napolini Pizzeria

Toppings include Italian sausage, Parma ham, roasted chicken, pepperoni, smoked provolone, broccolini, arugula, black and green olives, artichokes, roasted red peppers and pineapple, and more.

Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s

When you’re craving Mexican and don’t have the time or budget for table-service, the small Taqueria outside of Tortilla Jo’s is the perfect solution for your next meal.

Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s

The atmosphere is relaxing, especially on a sunny Southern California day. Plus, the menu choices are simple, so you don’t get overwhelmed.

Table Service

When you have time to slow down and enjoy a meal, try one of these table service restaurants. While snagging a walk-up table might be possible, we suggest making a reservation for one of these unique restaurants.

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, an incredibly popular New York City-based restaurant, introduced its signature burgers, CrazyShakes, and more to Disneyland! To put it simply, it’s really good food making it a spot that’s well worth a visit. Plus, it’s fun.

Churro Choco Taco Shake

Whether you stop by for a full meal or just a CrazyShake, you won’t be disappointed.

REVIEW: Disneyland is Taking Milk And Cereal To The NEXT. LEVEL.

Earl of Sandwich Tavern

You’ll find the Earl of Sandwich Tavern (with indoor and outdoor seating) next to the counter service Earl of Sandwich location. The Tavern has a more varied menu, including burgers, fish tacos, and more.

Yum

We recommend the Mac-n-Cheese Burger — it’s pretty close to perfection!

Ballast Point Brewing Co.

Ballast Point is the very first onsite brewery — complete with a tasting room, a kitchen, and an outdoor beer garden — in the Downtown Disney District. This restaurant offers great eats paired with a huge and unique beer selection in a large hangout spot for both vacation guests and locals.

BP Wings with Crispy Dry Rub

The shareable plates are fun to order if you’re grabbing some friends and some seats on the patio to relax and linger for an evening.

Downtown Disney Parking Tips

We’ve seen a lot of changes at Downtown Disney over the last couple of years, however this spot still remains a great option for hungry visitors and Southern California residents alike. If you haven’t been here in a while, we suggest trying one of our above recommendations. You won’t be disappointed!
