We Have ONE Word to Describe These 2 New Disney Snacks — SPICY 🔥

Happy belated Life Day to all who celebrate!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

What’s Life Day, you may ask? Life Day is a holiday celebration in the Star Wars universe, similar to our winter holiday season. We’ve already seen a sneak peek of this year’s merchandise, and we headed into Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland to try two meals inspired by the holiday!

At Docking Bay 7, you can grab two Life Day meals to celebrate in style. The first is the Trandoshan-style Pasta with Braised Bantha for $18.99. This is Chile-braised Beef, Buttered Garlic Cavatelli, and Seasonal Vegetables with Zesty Avocado Sauce and Balsamic Glaze.

Trandoshan-style Pasta with Braised Bantha

We loved this dish! The braised beef was very tender and flavorful and the chile gave it a bit of a kick. The cavatelli had a bit of that fresh avocado taste from the sauce and a hint of balsamic flavor. There was a great balance between the spicy beef and the noodles, and the vegetables were fresh and added a cool crunch. However, if you don’t like spicy food, we suggest skipping this one!

The other meal you can grab is the Yobshrimp Mix Stew with Swamp Grains for $17.49.

This is another spicy dish, made up of Spicy Tomato Curry Pan Roast with Shrimp, Sausage, Vegetables, and Herb Rice. We found the curry heavy on the tomato taste which we weren’t a big fan of. There’s a lot more spice in this dish too! The rice was nothing special, but we enjoyed it mixed in with the curry.

The shrimp

For the most part, we feel like this just tasted like curry with hints of sausage and shrimp flavor. If you’re a fan of tomato, curry, and overall spicy flavors, we think you’ll like this dish!

Stormtroopers in Galaxy’s Edge

If you’re visiting Disneyland soon, you can now meet Baby Yoda walking around with the Mandalorian in Galaxy’s Edge, and a recent price hike from a few weeks ago has made building lightsabers and droids more expensive, so you’ll want to budget out more for those experiences. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Star Wars news!

Here’s how you can use MagicBand+ in Disneyland (and especially in Galaxy’s Edge)!
