Tokyo Disneyland: Return of Christmas Celebrations for the First Time in Three Years

For the first time in three years, Christmas will return to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea from November 8th through December 25th. This extraordinary 48-day event, “Disney Christmas,” will see the long-awaited revival of the holiday spirit in the Japanese-based Disney parks. Both parks will have a full lineup of special events, from decorations, shows, fireworks, and special food items. Have a look at some of the offerings below.

A fantastic and fun parade that tells the story of the Disney Friends spending Christmas with their loved ones. The Disney Friends, dressed in Christmas-like costumes, will deliver their own Christmas stories to guests.

The splendid fireworks soaring to the accompaniment of Christmas songs will light up the park’s night sky like glittering stars.

At Fantasyland’s “Haunted Mansion”, a special program based on the movie “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas” will be held from Wednesday, September 14, 2022 to Wednesday, January 4, 2023. “Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare”” will be held.

A large Christmas tree about 15 meters high will appear in the World Bazaar, and a flowerbed designed with Mickey Mouse wearing a Santa hat will appear at the main entrance. Gorgeous garlands, wreaths, and Christmas fairy “Lil-Lin-Lin” ornaments will be displayed in various places to create a fantastic Christmas at Tokyo Disneyland.

Decorated with Christmas-like decorations and illuminations, guests are invited to the world of colorful, brilliant Christmas rich in variety. In the evening, when the illuminations begin to light up, a magical and romantic night at Tokyo DisneySea is produced.
