We’re just days away from the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and some of the cheer is already here. The festival kitchens, entrance decorations, and more have been set up in preparation for Friday.
The cream and gold festival sign is in place in the planter at the entrance to EPCOT.
The festival is presented by AdventHealth.
Flanking the sign are large fake presents with the festival logo on the gift tag.
Trees inside the planter are speckled with warm lights.
World Showplace Promenade
Signs bearing illustrations of the World Showcase pavilions with holiday wishes written in the corresponding languages can be found in World Showplace.
More trees have been added to the planter here.
On the other side are more gifts, plus Chip ‘n’ Dale in their winter gear.
Dated banners are on the light posts around the promenade.
Port of Entry has become the Holiday Market. Festival merchandise will be available here.
Patterns of swirls and geometric shapes evoking frigid winter wind and snow decorate the store.
This year, the Odyssey pavilion will be home to Holiday Heart Desserts and Santa Claus.
The windows have been covered with black and white versions of the wintry pattern we saw earlier at the Holiday Market.
Signs are up near the doors for both the kitchen and Santa.
Candlelight Processional is back again this year, and the sign for the stand-by entrance is in place.
There’s also a stand showing the full lineup of narrators and showtimes.
Many of the Holiday Kitchens are in place.
They all open this Friday, November 25. Stay tuned for full reviews for all offerings.
Small stages have been set up for the Holiday Storytellers.
Each Storyteller gives a short performance about a holiday tradition or icon unique to their respective country.
For example, the Italy stage above will be home to La Befana, the kind-hearted witch who visits sleeping young children on the Eve of the Epiphany.
