From visitors coming to Disney World for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, there’s a lot to do in October — and the wait times don’t lie. Last week wait times were holding steady as the holiday approached, but what about this week?

If you take a look at the wait times below and start panicking about how you’re going to be able to enjoy all your favorite rides, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered. You can purchase Genie+ for $15 to $22 per person, per day to bypass standby lines and use the faster Lightning Lanes, you can buy Lightning Lane access a la carte for select rides, and if you’re attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party it can be a great time to take advantage of lower wait times.

We’ve broken down all the average wait times for Disney World rides this week so you can get a good idea about what you might experience during your trip in October! Just be warned — wait times have increased quite a bit from last week.

Magic Kingdom

We’re starting out at Magic Kingdom, where Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 59 minutes!

Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 52 minutes, while Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion averaged 42 minutes. When it comes to the other ride averages, we’ve got Splash Mountain at 38 minutes, Space Mountain at 36 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 30 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 29 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 27 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 27 minutes, and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 24 minutes.

Next up “it’s a small world” averaged a wait time of 18 minutes, followed by Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid and Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 16 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 15 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 14 minutes, and Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 14 minutes.

Mad Tea Party averaged a 12-minute wait, followed by Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 11 minutes and Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 10 minutes.

Attractions with low wait times included Liberty Square Riverboat at 4 minutes and Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes. Country Bear Jamboree,  Tom Sawyer Island, Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse had no wait time this week.

EPCOT

If we make our way over to EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 94 minutes.

Next up was Frozen Ever After at 83 minutes, Test Track at 74 minutes, Soarin’ at 52 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 30 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 25 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 22 minutes, Living with the Land and The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 20 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 18 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 16 minutes.

If you’re interested in a theater show in EPCOT, you will most like find no wait time. These shows include Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China.

Hollywood Studios

Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 100 minutes.

After that, Slinky Dog Dash averaged 99 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 66 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 65 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 63 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 60 minutes, and Tower of Terror averaged 56 minutes.

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 40 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 18 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 17 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 14 minutes, and Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

And finally, let’s take a look at Animal Kingdom, where the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 120 minutes.

Next up was Na’vi River Journey at 76 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 68 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 50 minutes, Expedition Everest at 39 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 35 minutes.

Following behind was Triceratop Spin at 18 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 15 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.

As you can see, wait times are pretty high right now. With that in mind, if you are looking to skip those long lines to ride more while you are in the parks, you may want to consider Genie+. Usually we say to hold off in slower seasons, especially now that there has been a price increase. But after looking at these numbers you may want to consider if it’s right for your family!
