Get excited: another character dining spot is reopening in Disney World!

Chef Mickey’s, Cape May Cafe, The Crystal Palace, and more have all brought back their character dining experiences, but character dining in EPCOT has been a bit more limited lately. At Garden Grill, you can eat with Mickey and some of his friends, but what if you want a Princess-filled dining experience? Well, soon one spot at EPCOT will reopen that’ll give you just that!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall will soon be reopening in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion!

This spot, which offers a family-style dining experience with some traditional Norwegian dishes as well as American eats will be reopening on November 4th. But when can you start making reservations? Well, we’ve got the answer!

Mark your calendars — reservations for Akershus will open starting on October 24th!

Remember that dining reservations for Disney World can now be made up to 60 days in advance.

While the Traditional KjØttkaker with Norwegian meatballs and grilled salmon might be enough to get you interested, the princesses might be what really seals the deal on making a reservation here.

Akershus offers “Storybook Dining” with the Disney Princesses, so as you eat you’ll be able to take photos with some of your favorite Disney royals.

You might find princesses like Belle, Snow White, and others walking around here, so you’ll want to have those cameras ready to snap an epic photo!

Dining with the princesses isn’t all that readily available right now considering that Cinderella’s Royal Table only offers limited meets with Cinderella at the start and Artist Point — Story Book Dining with Snow White is limited to appearances by Snow White and some friends from her story, so we expect this princess meal could be a popular pick for many folks.
