We Did NOT Expect Disney World Wait Times To Do THIS

October can be one of the BEST times to visit Disney World — and the crowds prove it.

Halloween decorations in Magic Kingdom!

Many people visit Disney World in October to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or eat at EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, or maybe you just want to take advantage of the slightly cooler weather and see all the Halloween decorations. Last week’s wait times were HIGH, so let’s check out this week’s average wait times!

If you scroll to the wait times below, you’ll easily see which rides tend to have higher wait times than others and why purchasing Genie+ might be a good plan for you. Genie+ costs $15 to $22 per person, per day, and whether it’s worth it to you depends entirely on what you like to do in Disney World. Want to spend less time in the standby lines? Genie+ gets you in the faster Lightning Lanes, and you can also buy Lightning Lane access a la carte for certain rides.

Below you’ll find the average wait times of every Disney World ride this past week so you can see how long you might have to wait in line this October.  Wait times were high last week, but what about this week?

Magic Kingdom

We’re starting off with Magic Kingdom, where Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time at 57 minutes! Last week, the ride averaged 59 minutes, so it went a little bit down this week.
