The Unexpected Reason Disney World’s New Monster Treat Will Give You Nightmares

Halloween treats are STILL making their way into Disney World!

Cinderella Castle during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

We’ve already tried lots of snacks that have arrived in Disney World for the spooky season. Some are only available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and others are only becoming available closer to Halloween. We’re headed over to Disney’s Riviera Resort to try the new Monster Mousse!

Over at Le Petit Café in Disney’s Riviera Resort, you can grab the Monster Mousse for $7.99!

Monster Mousse

This new treat is made of pistachio mousse, morello cherry, and milk chocolate crumble. It’s only available October 29th through 31st.

This treat is salty and sweet because of the pistachios, and we think the pistachio and cherry combination is a little strange in this treat. The crumble also tastes like it has some nuts in it, which is not listed in the description, and we weren’t huge fans of that. This monster may be cute, but those flavors are

The inside

Overall, if you really like pistachio and don’t mind cherry, or like salty and sweet treats, you may enjoy this one. But for those who don’t like pistachios or cherries, and are looking for something more on the sweet side, we suggest you stay away. We highly recommend the pumpkin beignets over at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort!
