RUMOR: Betty Boop Store at Universal’s Islands of Adventure May Become a New Annual Passholder Lounge in 2023

The Universal Orlando Resort truly knows how to show their Annual Passholders some love.

Universal Orlando Annual Passholders can escape the crowds and kick back in their own exclusive lounge at Universal Studios Florida, and now we’ve heard rumors a new lounge could be coming to Islands of Adventure sometime in 2023.

Passholders can purchase exclusive merchandise and pick up their complimentary UOAP magnets from Toon Extra in Toon Lagoon, but there’s no actual lounge area in Islands of Adventure. There are occasionally exclusive dining locations, such as the Navigators Club, but no designated area to relax and recharge. Well, this might be changing soon!

The Betty Boop Store in Toon Lagoon is currently closed for refurbishment and coverings are up around the doors and windows. We have heard it will reopen during the holidays for merchandise and, if all goes according to plan, the shop will close again after the holidays and then be transformed into a new UOAP Lounge sometime next year.

A new passholder lounge would be a welcome addition to Islands of Adventure, so we’re hopeful the rumors are true! Stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates on this rumor.
