The new look for Kona Café in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been revealed this morning. The restaurant does not open until November 1, but we got a first look at the remodel.
Very little remains from the previous look, with the style shifting to match the refurbishments done to the hotel last year.
The wavy fencing around the entrance has been replaced with a black mesh-like fence.
The lighting fixtures have been replaced, and the ceiling features new Polynesian-style patterns.
Remnants of the old style remain at Kona Island.
The seating has all been replaced as well. Colorful tropical flowers have been added to the far wall.
The construction walls and tarps were removed for a private event.
