Disney World Food Review: Woody’s Lunch Box Vegan Menu

I am here to call a meeting to discuss one of the most fantastic grilled cheeses I’ve ever had. This is a vegan meal, but I’ve had the “normal” grilled cheeses, which are equally as good. Let’s head on over to Woody’s Lunch Box at Hollywood Studios.

The Seating Situation

Before we get to the good stuff, I want to touch on the not-so-good. Finding seating in this area is almost impossible unless you camp out behind a table that looks like they could get up any minute. I hate being the person that stands behind a family eating awkwardly, waiting for them to be done. Also, it’s all outdoor seating, and some tables are not covered, meaning this is not the place to be during the summer. That’s the only “con” I have about this dining location because the rest of the experience is excellent. I promise you; I waited about ten minutes, then finally gave up and grabbed a high top.

The Dining Experience

I mobile ordered my food and notified the quick-service restaurant of my dairy allergy through the My Disney Experience app. They were very accommodating, just like every other Disney-owned and operated restaurant on property. I ordered the plant-based grilled cheese with potato barrels. The grilled cheese was perfect; the cheese was melted, and the bread was perfectly toasted. The potato barrels here, or as I call them, tater tots, were phenomenal.

Meal Pricing

For the Plant-based Toasted Cheddar Sandwich with a side of potato barrels, the meal costs $9.99. If you don’t like potato barrels, you also have the choice of a Cuties Mandarin for a side. I think this is a good price for what you are getting. It’s definitely cheaper than some other quick-service locations.

If you have a picky eater in the family, I highly recommend this dining location; you can’t go wrong with some bread and cheese. Plus, they have fantastic food items other than grilled cheese, like Totchos, a Chicken Salad Sandwich, and Tomato-basil Soup. They also have some great sweet treats here. Right now, they have a seasonal Pumpkin Lunch Box Tart that looks absolutely adorable.
