Are you ready to kick off yet another anniversary celebration?!

You might be fatigued from the almost year-long 50th Anniversary celebration over at Disney World (which will continue on through March 2023), but it’s time to get prepared for an even bigger milestone — 100 years. That’s right, The Walt Disney Company is about to celebrate its 100th Anniversary, and here’s when it starts!

At the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney released more information about their 100th Anniversary celebration — Disney 100 Years of Wonder! During the event, the Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D’Amaro, announced that the celebration will kick off during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockkin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC!

During the celebration, guests can expect to see celebratory merchandise like the Mickey Platinum Drip Minnie Ears. 

Along with a new, 100th anniversary Walt Disney Studios logo, moviegoers can also expect to see films like Wish hit theaters in 2023. The movie is inspired by the celebration and follows Asha, a girl who wishes upon a star and causes it to come down from the sky.

And Disneyland will be the “heart of the celebration” with special entertainment moments popping up around the resort.

Guests will see the return of the Magic Happens Parade and the debut of two new nighttime spectaculars — “World of Color — One” and Wondrous Journeys. Wondrous Journeys will “feature nods to all 60 Walt Disney Animation Studios films to date, taking viewers on a journey filled with artistry, music, storytelling, and heart.”

And in late 2023, Disney World will also receive a new nighttime show in EPCOT for the celebration.

Hong Kong Disneyland will also get a new statue of Walt Disney and Mickey to celebrate the occasion!

You can also expect to see Disney 100 – The Traveling Exhibition which will premiere at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia in February 2023. It will travel to big cities to celebrate the occasion, like Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, and Munich, Germany.
