What’s New in Magic Kingdom: Walt Disney World Railroad Updates and 16 Christmas Ornaments

If you haven’t been to Magic Kingdom in a minute, then there’s a lot to catch up on!

Magic Kingdom

The park is decorated for Halloween and is hosting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party multiple times a week (which has now sold out, by the way!). Because of this, we’ve seen new Halloween merchandise and treats around the park. On top of that, there’s some considerable progress happening with the TRON coaster in Tomorrowland (we just found out that it opens in the spring!). But besides those things, there are some smaller merchandise and construction updates you might’ve missed, and we’ve rounded them all up for you. This is what’s new in Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Walt Disney World Railroad

Let’s start out this update in Tomorrowland, across from the TRON coaster construction, where the track has been completed for the Walt Disney World Railroad! This section of train tracks was torn up to start the TRON construction, but after a few years, it has finally been put back together.

It’s ready!

Could this mean that we’re a step closer to having the classic attraction reopen? Well, we’ll have to wait and see but we’ve got our fingers crossed!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

How fun is this Mickey Ghost Candle?! It’s the perfect addition to your fall decor for $34.99.

We love the colors on this one!

We all know that it can be unbearably hot in Florida for much of the year, and if you’re sweating out there, you can purchase this Pirates of the Caribbean Hand Fan.

It might help with the heat a little bit.

The design says “dead men tell no tales” and will cost you $12.99.

Star Traders

The Halloween merchandise isn’t only in The Emporium — we also found this shirt inspired by The Skeleton Dance in Star Traders in Tomorrowland.

Spooky scary skeletons!
