Polynesian Village Resort Construction Update

At the Polynesian Village Resort, construction is still underway for the new Disney Vacation Club villas being built on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

We’ve been seeing more construction vehicles in the area and a large mound of dirt, and scaffolding on the edge of the construction area. We’ll be watching closely for more changes!

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto

The Monstro Tiki Mug we previously saw in Disneyland made its way over to Disney World! We found it at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. We waited in line for around 75 minutes to get this unique mug!

There were two drink options to choose from and we went with the Whale of a Tale, made with Malfy Gin Originale, Plantation Pineapple Rum, Italian Liqueur, Pineapple Juice, and Orgeat, and garnished with an Orange Wheel, Charred Pineapple Wedge, and a Pineapple Leaf. We paid $50 for the mug and the drink.

Art of Animation Merchandise Updates

Ink & Paint

At Ink & Paint in Art of Animation, we spotted a Cinderella Horse and Carriage Playset for $39.99.

We also found a Glitter Princess Journal for $19.99…

…and an Aristocats Unlined Journal for $9.99.

Calypso Trading

At Calypso Trading, we spotted a Caribbean Beach Corkcicle Tumbler for $39.99.

We also came across these cute Halloween Baskets, which cost (from left to right) $75.58, $86.71, and $77.71.

Swan and Dolphin Resort Construction Update

We noticed some construction being done on the exterior of the Swan and Dolphin Resort, including some of the windows.

The Swan and Dolphin Resort is conveniently located between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, and it’s one of our favorite places to stay!

Yacht Club Construction Update

Over at the Yacht Club, we noticed some construction. It looked like they were replacing some of the wood on the boardwalk.

Over at the Beach Club, we noticed a map of the resort was back, just outside the entrance.

We found a Disney Vacation Club Halloween Spirit Jersey at both Character Carnival on the BoardWalk and Beach Club’s Marketplace store.

Head to either of those two spots to find them while supplies last!
