Although most of us focus our time and attention on the parks when it comes to Disney World vacations, we want to stress that you should also make time to visit Disney Springs!

Sure, there’s a lot of great shopping in Disney Springs, but there are also a TON of amazing restaurants (and we have our favorites) with great food. Now, one of our favorite dining spots is offering a special Labor Day weekend treat, and you should check it out.

We’ve talked about Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ a lot — it’s consistently one of the best restaurants in Disney Springs. If you want some good Southern home cooking, THIS is where you want to go. Now, a new menu item is headed to Homecomin’ and it’s an iconic fried snack: FRIED PICKLE SPEARS.

These pickles are homemade Kosher dill pickles that are double breaded in that Homecomin’ fried chicken batter and then flash fried for a super crispy exterior.

So if you want to grab some fried pickle goodness, head to Disney Springs to grab this snack. You may want to make an advance dining reservation to make sure you grab a spot in the restaurant because it’s a very busy restaurant!

Once you’ve indulged in some fried pickles, and maybe some of that famous Chef Art Smith’s Fried Chicken, head on over to Gideon’s Bakehouse for a Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie and a French Toast Nitro Cold Brew.
