Disney World Crowds Are DROPPING — And This Proves It!

Can anyone else believe how fast August flew by or is it just us?

Disney World

August brought us tons of exciting new things, like the return of the Halloween season (including the oh-so-delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks). We’re also starting to see a dip in the crowd levels at the Disney World parks, so let’s take a look at how that affects the park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability for next week, September 4th to September 10th!

Magic Kingdom Park Hours

Next week, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 11PM every day except for September 6th and September 9th. The park is open from 8AM to 6PM on those days due to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

There will be Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom for select Disney World Resort hotel guests on September 7th from 11PM-1AM.

EPCOT Park Hours

EPCOT will be open every day next week from 8:30AM to 9PM, except for September 8th, when it is open from 9AM-9PM.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park Hours

As a reminder, if you have a ticket with park hopping capabilities, you can park hop after 2PM until the park closes.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park Hours

And finally, Animal Kingdom‘s hours are a little all over the place next week. On September 4th and 5th, it is open from 8AM-8PM.

From September 6th-9th, Animal Kingdom is closing an hour earlier and will be open from 8AM-7PM. On September 10th, the park hours return to 8AM-8PM.

When it comes to Disney World Annual Passes, Park Pass Reservations are also completely open for guests who have the Incredi Pass…

Guests who have the Pirate Pass are blocked out on September 4th and 5th due to Labor Day, but have open Park Pass availability for the rest of the week.

Pixie Dust Passholders are always blocked out on the weekends but are also blocked out on September 5th next week because of Labor Day, as well.

And that’s what you need to know about Disney World’s park hours and Park Pass availability for next week! We have seen crowds dropping in the parks lately, which tends to happen in September. But this is the first time since the pandemic that we are seeing crowds follow the standard calendar for Disney World.

If you’re going to be at Disney World next week, there are a lot of things for you to see and do. The AMC theater in Disney Springs recently got an upgrade to improve moviegoers’ experiences, and there’s a new Collegiate Combo available at The Basket at Wine Bar George, as well.

Plus, there’s a new Bashful ice cream cone in Magic Kingdom that has a pretty unique flavor combination! We’re always on the lookout for more Disney news that could impact your next trip, so make sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest.
