Disney Cruises Will Sail to Australia and New Zealand for the First Time!

The D23 Expo was FULL of big Disney announcements from around the globe.

The D23 Expo Has Ended!

In addition to news about Disney World and Disneyland, we also heard about a Tangled-themed attraction in Disneyland Paris, a Space Mountain transformation in Tokyo Disneyland, and even a new Frozen expansion in Hong Kong Disneyland. And now we’re here with big Disney Cruise Line news for Aussies and Kiwis!

Disney announced at the D23 Expo that Disney Cruise Line sailings called “Disney Magic at Sea” would be offered in Australia and New Zealand for the FIRST time ever! Sales begin on September 29th, 2022 with sailings available for a limited time in 2023 and 2024, starting in October 2023.

You can book your cruise for two to six-night cruises from Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, all aboard the Disney Wonder. Cruise prices vary depending on the location, type of stateroom, and the number of nights. You can view sail dates by clicking here.

The Disney Wonder has 875 Staterooms with a capacity of 2,713 passengers in total. Aboard the Wonder, you can explore 11 decks filled with pools, restaurants, recreation, entertainment, and more!

In other Disney Cruise Line news, Disney also announced the newest addition to the fleet — the Disney Treasure! The Treasure is currently scheduled for delivery in 2024 and the theme will be adventure, with the design inspired by Asia, Africa, and Aladdin‘s Agrabah.
