We Made the Disney Halloween Playlist of Your Dreams (Or Nightmares) đź‘»

Halloween isn’t Halloween without some spooky sounds.

Coming Soon!

And we’re not talking about the cliché creaky doors and floorboards. We’re talking about real songs that get us into the Halloween mood — whether we’re looking for happy haunts or creepy-creeps. With that in mind, we made a Halloween playlist full of Halloween vibes. Oh…and did we mention that it’s a Disney Halloween Playlist (obvi)? So, if you’re looking for songs to get you ready for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (or the spooky season, in general), here’s the Disney Halloween Playlist of your dreams…or nightmares.

Take a listen…if you dare:

“Otherworldly Concerto” – Gaylord Carter

Ahh, the classic Haunted Mansion tune. This version is also played on organs, which somehow makes it spookier.

“This is Halloween” – The Citizens of Halloween

Of course, we had to include this staple Halloween song! “Halloween” is quite literally in the title.

“Oogie Boogie’s Song” – Ed Ivory and Ken Paige

It’s got Oogie Boogie, Sandy Claws, and spooky lyrics — what else could you possibly need?!

Oogie Boogie

“Friends on the Other Side” – Keith David

This is one of our favorite villain songs ever. It’s full of voodoo and…friends on the other side.

“Trust In Me” – Scarlett Johansson

An enormous singing snake? Yeah…we’ll pass on the whole “trust” part.

“Mother Knows Best (Reprise)” – Donna Murphy

Yes, we specifically chose the reprise — it was not a mistake. Give it a listen and you’ll see why. Mother Gothel shows off her dark side during this song, so we’ll always have this on our Halloween playlists.

“Ghostly Music Box” -Haunted Mansion

We absolutely couldn’t forget about this music box-style song. Something about music boxes is…creepy.

“Agatha All Along” – Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, Kathryn Hahn, Eric Badley, Greg Whipple, Jasper Randall, and Gerald White

Okay…we had to include this one. A villain disguised as a friendly neighbor/friend? Don’t let the jingle fool you — this villain reveal was pretty frightening.

“999 Happy Haunts” – The Happy Haunts

We needed another upbeat song to add to the playlist, so what’s better than harmonizing with silly spooks? (The answer is “nothing,” by the way.)

“Once Upon a Dream” – Lana Del Rey

This version of “Once Upon a Dream” takes on a much darker tone than the original…and we kinda love it.

“The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror” – Richard Bellis and Marious Constant

A Disney Halloween Playlist without a nod to Tower of Terror? There was no way we would let that happen.
