Are you ready for Halloween? Disney World certainly is!
The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year is just around the corner, and Disney has given us so many sneak peeks! We know what treats will be available during the party, have gotten a look at the merchandise, and we even know everything that will be returning to the party this year. One of those returning entertainment offerings is the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show on the Cinderella Castle stage. This show is a fan-favorite Halloween offering, and now we’ve seen a new MagicBand design all about it!
We saw this MagicBand at Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom. It’s limited edition, which means that there are only 3,780 of them in total! The box is very spooky with a black cat (Binx, is that you?) and “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” on it, as well. This is a regular MagicBand, which means that it will not come with all of the interactive technology that MagicBand+, which was released recently. You can read more about what you can do with MagicBand+ here.
The band itself says “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” as well as “Magic Kingdom 2022” on one side. The other side says “Frightful Friends Unite.”
As far as characters go, there are of course the Sanderson Sisters in all their glory on one side of the band…
…with Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas on the other side! Jack is standing in front of a large full moon and is joined by his faithful ghost pup, Zero.
You can grab this MagicBand for $39.99 at Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom. Since it’s a limited edition band, it may sell out quickly. If you’re heading to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you’ll be able to catch the Sanderson Sisters in the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular! The show follows the sisters as they try to create the ultimate Hocus Pocus Party Potion, with appearances from other Disney villains who show up to lend a hand.
Need even more Hocus Pocus in your life? Check out the Hocus Pocus coffee blends from Joffrey’s that are now available, and the Hocus Pocus cereal, too! The sequel movie, Hocus Pocus 2 will also be premiering next month, so check out the trailer for the new movie here. As always, make sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney news.
