Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has officially kicked off for 2022, and while we’re busy trick-or-treating our way around the park, that doesn’t mean we aren’t stopping for snacks along the way. Let’s head over to The Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland, where we’ve heard there’s a spicy new hot dog themed around Hades, and Un Poco Loco Tots!

The Hades Hot Dog includes a side of regular tater tots.

Hades Hot Dog – $9.99

Spicy beef and pork hot dog, Hades’ relish, and pickles served with house-made violet mustard

Do not be deterred by the purple mustard. This dog is on fire!

The dog itself is a blend of beef and pork with a good amount of spice in the meat.

The Hades relish kicks it up even hotter and brings a tangy vinegary zest.

This dog is not for the faint of heart but if you like spice you should check it out.

Un Poco Loco Tots – $11.49

Chorizo sausage, green onion, and Hades’ cheese sauce

We were a little off-put but the appearance of this dish. It looks like ground ham but it is in fact chorizo.

This is a nice twist on tots with a bit of a kick. The tots are well cooked, the best we’ve had from Friar’s Nook in a while.

The cheese sauce has a bit of zing to it, and the chorizo gives a nice meaty spice. Ample green onions pull it all together with a fresh crunch.
