PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 8/19/22 (New Magicband+ Designs, Halloween T-Shirt, Light Crowds & More)

Good morning from Magic Kingdom! Today we are planning on doing some shopping on Main Street, U.S.A. We are also going to check out TRON Lightcycle / Run to see if there are any construction updates. Let’s get started!

The first thing we noticed when entering Magic Kingdom was this Mickey Mouse artwork designed by a custodial cast member.

In the Emporium, a new Happy Halloween 2022 t-shirt is now available. This t-shirt comes in adult and youth sizes.

The Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise continues to trickle into the parks. In the Emporium, we spotted this new Jack Skellington throw blanket.

New Magicband+ designs were available in The Emporium. A Jack Skellington and Sally Magicband+ would be perfect to wear to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

A Disney’s Electrical Light Parade and The Haunted Mansion MagicBand+ were also found in the Emporium.

We also spotted two new Grogu tumblers. The first design features Grogu and the Mandalorian.

Both tumblers feature a Grogu straw topper.

A new Walt Disney World water bottle was also available. This water bottle features Cinderella Castle and fireworks in the design. This would be the perfect bottle to keep your water cold as you walk around the parks.

We noticed the crowds were very light today. Magic Kingdom closes at 6 pm tonight, and that may be why there are not a lot of people here today.

We decided to hop on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover to see if we could find any construction updates on TRON Lightcycle / Run. As we went by, we saw the ride testing.

It looks like construction workers were working on the train tracks. Hopefully this is a sign that the train may be running soon.

Not only were the crowds light, but the wait times were low too. The Haunted Mansion was a 13 minute wait this morning and was a walk-on.

New Halloween magnets were available in Frontier Trading Post.
