How You Should Spend Your Money in Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is one of those Disney Parks where there’s almost TOO MUCH to do.

There are way too many ways to spend money in Magic Kingdom

Do you ride all the rides?? Eat? Shop? Check out the shows and parades? WHAT?! All we know is that there are places you WANT to spend your money — and other places you don’t. We’ve got all the deets on the best places to spend your hard-earned cash in Magic Kingdom!

Food

Aloha Isle or Sunshine Terrace

You can’t get much more classic than getting a DOLE Whip from Aloha Isle or Sunshine Terrace! You can get a Pineapple DOLE Whip if you like to stick to basics, or you can try other concoctions like the Citrus Swirl (when available) or the I Lava You Float.

We love you, Dole Whip!

You can get DOLE Whips from a variety of locations around Disney World but Magic Kingdom is one of our favorite places to grab one! Cool off on a hot Florida day and then visit the Enchanted Tiki Room for the full experience.

Check out how to make DOLE Whip at home here!

Be Our Guest

Be Our Guest Restaurant is for those of you who want to feel like you’re living inside the story of Beauty and the Beast. But keep in mind — it comes at a price.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Are you looking for a film-like dining experience? Here ya go! You can dine inside one of three rooms in Be Our Guest, including the Grand Ballroom, the Beast’s West Wing, and the Castle Gallery, and they’re all straight out of the movie.

Grand Ballroom at Be Our Guest Restaurant

Lunch and dinner feature a prix fixe menu with prices set at $64 per adult and $37 per child, so it’s definitely more of a splurge. You’re looking at a menu of modern French cuisine with your meal including an appetizer, entrée, and a dessert trio. The French Onion Soup is one of our favorite appetizers, while the Filet Mignon we’ve ordered has also been a pretty good steak.

Center-cut Filet Mignon — part of the Prix Fixe menu at Be Our Guest

Reservations can be difficult to get a hold of but you can occasionally find random same-day reservations open via the Mobile Walk-Up Waitlist, so don’t give up hope if you can’t find one right away. The important thing is to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app for new openings! We don’t always think the food is the best but we do think this is worth at least a one time visit for the experience at the atmosphere.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of those must-do Magic Kingdom restaurants — at least once. Many people think of it as a one-and-done restaurant for a few reasons, but it can be an especially magical experience for first-time Magic Kingdom visitors

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Yes, you actually dine INSIDE Cinderella Castle! You can grab breakfast for $42 per adult and $27 per child, while lunch and dinner will cost you $62 per adult and $37 per child. All three meals are served prix fixe, and diners get pastries and an entree for breakfast and appetizers, an entree, and dessert for lunch and dinner.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Note that Cinderella’s Table used to be a character dining spot, and a variety of Disney Princesses would stop by every table to greet diners. Now guests can meet Cinderella briefly in the lobby before their meal, but that’s it for now.

Cinderella at Cinderella’s Royal Table

When it comes to the food, in the past we really enjoyed breakfast dishes like Shrimp and Grits or the When Will My Life Begin Chicken and Pasta and the Jaq & Gus dessert for lunch or dinner. Some of our readers have said that breakfast is superior to lunch/dinner, and if you make an early reservation at 8AM, you might even get into Magic Kingdom before opening time!

When Will My Life Begin Chicken and Pasta

Like Be Our Guest, it’s not easy to get a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table but you do have options. You can try to join the Walk-Up Waitlist or keep checking the My Disney Experience app for any reservation openings. And make sure you budget accordingly! This is another spot where we don’t think you need to visit every single time you go to Magic Kingdom. Buuut we do think it is worth doing once since the experience is so amazing!

Spring Roll Wagon

The Spring Roll Wagon is home to some of our favorite Disney World snacks, serving their own version of spring rolls with flavors such as pepperoni pizza, cheeseburger, pastrami, buffalo chicken, and more! You can find this cart while walking toward Adventureland.

Spring Roll Wagon

The Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are one of our favorite flavors, made of fried pastries filled with ground beef and cheese. Yum! We have also enjoyed the new 50th Celebration Spring Rolls, filled with pastrami and pepper jack cheese.

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

You can get two spring rolls for $9.50 or get one of each spring roll for the same price. It is a little pricier than other Disney World snacks but these do prove to be both tasty and filling!

Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is tucked away in Liberty Square with some unique views of Cinderella Castle, and here you can find Mickey waffles, funnel cake, a Haunted Mansion-themed push-pop, and the delicious Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich.

Sleepy Hollow

The Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich was previously only available during breakfast but is now available all day (woohoo!). This sandwich is served with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and chocolate-hazelnut spread for $8.49.

Fresh Fruit Waffle

The Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich is another way to get a delicious and filling meal. This comes with broccoli slaw with a honey-sriracha glaze served with house-made chips for $11.29.

Chicken and Waffle Sandwich

Sleepy Hollow is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they also serve turkey legs after 7PM. It’s easy to miss this spot but we recommend stopping by for a snack (or two!).

The Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise takes you on a Magic Kingdom Ferryboat sailing on the Seven Seas Lagoon.
