Witches, are you brewing your cauldrons yet?

Next month, Hocus Pocus 2 will be on Disney+ just in time for the holiday season! Disney has already been celebrating with new food, merchandise, and returning shows in the parks. We are barely containing our excitement and that’s why we decide to plan our watch party a month early!

Planning a party for family and friends can get overwhelming so we decided to share what we’re gathering to host the best Hocus Pocus 2 watch party. Of course, a party like this will need some haunting snacks, drinks, and decorations and we have compiled the perfect list fit for a Sanderson sister.

1. A Disney+ Subscription

First things first, you absolutely need a Disney+ subscription. Hocus Pocus 2 will be on Disney+ starting on September 30th and we are counting down the days. The sequel follows three young girls who accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters and, of course, trouble ensues! While we wait though, you can check out the trailer for the movie below!

 2. Fun Snacks

Every good party needs a good snack to go along with it. While we don’t think the Sanderson Sisters are the sweetest people, we know these snacks are! First, we think the perfect addition to this party would be this Hocus Pocus 2 cereal.

This cereal might be a breakfast food but you can’t pass up a themed snack for the perfect watch party! This cereal is a “berry brew” made by Kellogg’s so be sure to check your local grocery stores to grab your own box (or two).

The second snack we think you should have for this spooky watch party is inspired by a treat currently in Magic Kingdom! The Binx Pastry Tail is one of Disney’s many Halloween treats around that are Hocus-Pocus themed. This treat is a bear claw pastry filled with chocolate hazelnut and purple icing, topped with drizzled dark chocolate, more purple icing, and a white chocolate piece that looks like Binx the cat!

While you probably couldn’t make this exact treat at home, we do think it serves as some great inspiration for your party snacks!

3. Clothes To Dress The Part

Personally, we can’t host a party without having some matching clothes to go with it. That’s why we had to create a few shirts dedicated to each Sanderson Sister with their iconic quotes.

4. Themed Drinks

You can’t have fun-themed snacks and shirts without some themed drinks too! That’s why we have not one but two recipes for you and your guests to brew up! The first is a recipe for your own Hocus Pocus Magic Brew Punch. The punch recipe was created by Disney and is sure to get you in the haunting spirit.

All you need is: 

• 2 cups of orange juice
• 4 cups of cranberry juice
• 1 liter of lemon-lime soda
• 46 oz of pineapple juice

Directions

Add all of the fruit juices into a large bowl and mix well. Then pour your lemon-lime soda into the mix, mix everything together, and you’re done!

The second drink we have on our list is the Sanderson Sisters potion drink! This drink is a simple one to make at home and it doesn’t require any of the usual witches’ ingredients like a dead man’s toes.
