Ron Logan was named a Disney Legend in 2007 — an honor only given to “individuals in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to the Walt Disney Company.” Along with his time as an Executive Vice President and Executive Producer, he also contributed to Disney Park classics like Fantasmic!, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Festival of the Lion King, and more. He also helped pitch the idea of a Beauty and the Beast Broadway show and helped created the Disneyland and Broadway Beauty and the Beast stage shows.

Additionally, he’s produced 5 Super Bowl halftime shows. He was also a fanfare trumpeter for the Candlelight Processional in Disneyland. After retiring, he was honored with a window on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom with the words “Ron Logan, Leading the Band into a New Century.”

He made a profound impact and will be missed by many. Our thoughts are with his family.
