A NEW type of Disney merchandise has begun taking over the parks!
And no, we’re not talking about Minnie ears, spirit jerseys, mugs, or another type of merchandise that probably popped into your head. This style of merchandise is very unique. It looks cute (not unique, SO many Disney items are cute), BUT it’s actually kinda painful to wear! Introducing: Plastic Character Headbands!
Yes, you heard us right. Plastic. Character. Headbands. We’ve recently seen a few different pairs over in Disneyland, like the Hades Plastic Headband…
…the Ursula Plastic Headband…
…and a Maleficent Plastic Headband all over on the west coast.
But now, we’ve spotted our first plastic headband in Disney World. It’s not any of the three we’ve listed above though, instead, the first plastic headband to come to the east coast is… Anger from Inside Out! We know he’s technically not a villain, but he looks pretty upset about these painful headbands.
We’ve also seen this headband over in Disneyland as well. Now, here’s the thing. If you think these look painful — THEY ARE (from our experience anyway)! At the very least, if you or your kids are sensitive to plastic digging into your head, then you might think it’s painful. Beware that if this is something your kid is begging for, you could spend the $28 on this headband, only for your kiddo to quickly realize they don’t want to wear it for more than 5 minutes.
But, these headbands are a SUPER easy way to upgrade your costume for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! If you really want to get into the Halloween spirit, check out these incredible costumes you can get online!
Halloween has also taken over Magic Kingdom! Decorations are all over the park, you can buy all sorts of Halloween merchandise and snacks, and attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Be sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney merchandise news!
Would you grab one of these plastic headbands if you saw it? Let us know your thoughts below!
