What’s New in Magic Kingdom: A 50th Anniversary Treat Has Disappeared AGAIN

If there’s one thing to know about Disney World, it’s that there’s almost always something happening!

Cinderella Castle

Recently, we saw some changes come to the merchandise rule limiting the number of items you can buy at Disney World stores, and we’ve also seen the closure of the BoardWalk Bakery as it makes way for the new BoardWalk Deli. Today, we’re heading to Magic Kingdom to take a look at what’s new!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

Big Top Treats

Let’s get right into it and start with the food! Over at Big Top Treats inside Big Top Souvenirs, you can find house-made caramel corn. We noticed on a recent visit that the bag has changed. It now features a picture of Dumbo the Flying Elephant!

Dumbo Popcorn Bag

The Dumbo ride can be found nearby and the whole area is themed after the circus scene in the movie. The popcorn bag now says “Dumbo Delights.”

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies

The Uncle Orville Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Sundae has disappeared from the menu again.

It’s gone again!

This menu item appeared for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, disappeared, came back, and now it’s gone again. They likely sold out of the bath tubs again and are waiting for another shipment to arrive.

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Construction keeps moving right along over at the new TRON coaster in Tomorrowland. Disney hasn’t shared an opening date for this ride yet, but we can see progress being made on the ride. We’ll keep checking back to see what other additions are made.
