What’s New in Disney’s Animal Kingdom: A Park Map UPGRADE

What’s your favorite Disney World theme park?

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Each park is very unique and offers something different to see and do than the others. One thing that they have in common is that there’s almost always something new to check out in each one. So today, we’re heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to take a look at what’s new in food, construction, and merchandise! Let’s get started!

Animal Kingdom Food Updates

On a recent trip to Animal Kingdom, we noticed that an update had been made to the kids’ menus at the park’s quick service restaurants. A new side has been added!

Restaurantosaurus

Now, in addition to things like fries and fresh fruit, your child can choose Bug-shaped Graham Crackers as a side at the quick service restaurants in the park.

Animal Kingdom Construction Updates

At long last, the Festival of the Lion King show has returned!

Festival of the Lion King

It was previously operating as A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King, but it closed for a brief period and reopened as the full show, complete with tumble monkeys and acrobatic birds

We also noticed that an addition has been made in the Harambe area of Animal Kingdom. There is now a fake fruit cart set up on the side of the building that is made to look like an internet cafe.

Animal Kingdom also got a new park map!

The map features a scene from the reimagined Finding Nemo show found in the park.
