What’s New in Disney Springs: A Sneak Peek at a STUNNING New Dessert

It’s time to get a taste of what’s happening around Disney Springs!

Disney Springs

Can there ever be too many Dole Whip creations? Disney Springs has put this question to the test with their Disney Springs’ Flavors of Florida event, which brought some special Dole Whips to the area. (Spoiler alert: there is no such thing as too many Dole Whips. 😉 ) But it’s not just unique Dole Whips that have arrived — we’ve also spotted some returning food offerings, new merchandise, and…ice cream perfume?! Let’s take a trip to Disney Springs to see what’s going on!

Disney Springs Food Updates

Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar and Restaurant

Enzo’s Hideaway is bringing back their Sunday Supper offering! It hasn’t been available for some time, but it’s finally returning this fall. Sunday Supper is basically a family-style dinner full of Italian eats.

Menu

We got a sneak peek at the eats, thanks to the team at Enzo’s Hideaway. Our meal started off with bread and olive oil.

A Great Way to Start

Then, we snacked on the Salumi e Formaggi. This was a charcuterie board that featured prosciutto di parma, salame picante, finocchiona, parmigiana, pecorino, fontina, cured olives, and grissini. There was also a currants and cherries spread, house-baked ciabatta, and peppers.

Salumi e Formaggi

Next up was the Insalata della casa. This was a salad described as having mixed organic greens, cucumbers, pickled peppers, tomatoes, olives, ricotta salata, and a balsamic vinaigrette.

Salad Time — Gotta Eat Your Veggies!

We also tried Enzo’s Sunday Gravy Rigatoni! This is a house-made rigatoni with house tomato sauce.

Rigatoni

Then, we dug into Braised Meats. This featured meatballs, sausage, and short ribs.

Time to Eat!

Last up was the Pollo Arrosto. This features a lemon oregano roasted chicken, broccolini, creamy polenta, and salsa verde.

The Chicken

And, for dessert, we grabbed the Holy Cannoli (we’re big fans of the name). This is NOT part of the upcoming Sunday Supper menu, but is a dessert that’s expected to hit Enzo’s Hideaway in about 3 months. The Holy Cannoli feeds 9 people and features vanilla and chocolate gelato, cannoli, waffle cone, banana, cherries, whipped cream, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, AND sprinkles. (Think the kitchen sink dessert.)

Holy Cannoli

We also tried some drinks, like the Flor de Cana, Malfy Gin, and Maple Old Fashioned.

The Drinks

Overall, we enjoyed the variety of dishes, and the speakeasy atmosphere was fun — as it always is.

Swirls on the Water

Then it was time to Celebrate Dole Whip Day! For Dole Whip Day, we grabbed the Dole Whip Flight for $6.49. This is an item that is regularly available at Swirls on the Water and is one we’ve had before, but you’ll want to check and see what swirls are being offered as sometimes that can change.

Dole Whip Flight

We also grabbed the Sangria Float for $10.99. Again, this is one that’s been on the menu for a while.

Sangria Float

These were fun items and while not necessarily new, they might be ones you haven’t realized were there or haven’t stopped to grab. We hope to see more unique Dole Whip creations like these in Disney Springs in the future.

Salt & Straw

Over at Salt & Straw, you can find perfume for your ice cream. Yes — perfume for your ice cream.

We recommend!

We tried the Sea Salt and Caramel Ribbons with a Cloud of Cocoa Perfume. The Cloud of Cocoa Perfume smelled just like a chocolate shop, and we actually think it enhanced the flavor of our caramel ice cream. It’s an interesting “topping” for your ice cream, and we definitely recommend giving it a try! Salt & Straw’s perfume toppings are complimentary for the rest of July, so grab ’em fast!

Disney Springs Merchandise Updates

Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company

Over at Joffrey’s, we found this adorable pin set that includes a pin of a pink donut, a coffee cup, and the Joffrey’s logo!

Pin Set

If you want to grab your own, you can find them over in Disney Springs for $17.99. And if they look familiar, it’s probably because they were around before the shutdown!

The Ganachery

We’ve been seeing Corkcicle mugs pop up everywhere for the Flavors of Florida and EPCOT Food & Wine Festival events. But now, Ganachery is joining in on the fun!

Mug

You can find their Ganachery Corkcicle Mug for $35. The mug says, “Chocolate is good medicine.” We totally agree, btw.
