REVIEW: New Chicago-Style Hot Dog Available at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom for Fourth of July

Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom has a new hot dog available for the summer: the Chicago-style hot dog.

The dog is served with french fries. It’s being introduced this weekend as part of the Fourth of July festivities, but it will be available through August 11, 2022.

Chicago-style Hot Dog – $11.99

Chicago relish, pico de gallo, and mustard

This tastes just like a classic Casey’s hot dog with mustard and pickles; there’s nothing special about it.

We did get a hidden Mickey in our mustard, which was cute.

The relish was an off-putting green.

The pico de gallo was apparently to replace the pickled sport peppers on a normal Chicago-style hot dog.

There was no celery salt, which is also a Chicago-style standard.

This is fine. It wasn’t terrible, nor was it great. If you enjoy Casey’s, you’ll probably enjoy this option!

Will you be trying this new Chicago-style hot dog or sticking with an old favorite? Let us know in the comments.
