*NEW* Taco al Pastor – $7.50

Seared Pork Belly Pastor on a Corn Tortilla with Chipotle Black Beans, Pineapple, Pickled Onions, and Chives

The pineapple in this taco is refreshing, and the pork is really nice.

We prefer this over the tostada de barbacoa (below), though neither pair well with the margaritas.

*NEW* Tostada de Barbacoa – $8.00

Barbacoa Beef on a Fried Corn Tortilla with Chipotle Black Beans, Salsa Verde, Mexican Crema, Queso Fresco, and Chives

This is messy and a little bland. It reminds us of Taco Bell.

The tostada was crunchy, but the barbacoa could have used more seasoning and cheese.

Capirotada de Chocolate – $6.00

Abuelita Chocolate Bread Pudding served with a Chocolate Crème Anglaise

This is a bread pudding, so if you’re not someone who likes those, this isn’t going to be for you. It got very gelatinous very quickly, and the chocolate cream also hardened quickly, too. It’s a giant portion for what they charge. It should be moister, though.

Mexican Craft Beer (5% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz. $10.00 for 12 oz.

If there was a cheap ripoff of Sol, which is a cheap ripoff of Corona, then this beer would be it.

*NEW* Blood Orange Charm Margarita: Centinela Blanco Tequila ($46/bottle) – $12.50

Blood Orange Aperitif, Blackcurrant-Infused Vodka, and Prosecco served on the rocks with Pink Peppercorns and Sweet Dried Chile Salt Rim

This is pretty good. It doesn’t taste too much like alcohol. The blood orange flavor is more present. It has tequila and vodka, but we only noticed the tequila.

There are no bubbles from the prosecco. The peppercorn was a bit crunchy. It was refreshing and salty. It’s better if you stir it beforehand.

*NEW* It Takes 2 to Mango Margarita: Mezcal Ilegal Joven ($30/bottle) – $12.00

Mango Purée, Nixta Corn Liqueur ($36/bottle), Rum and Ancho Chile Lime Juice served on the rocks with Hibiscus-Salt Rim

This is smokier and we could taste the mezcal with a light hit of mango.

It’s enjoyable and not overpowering. It has a savory, smoky flavor with a slightly fruity aftertaste.
