What is your favorite thing to do in Disney World outside of the theme parks?

Sometimes you need a break from the lines!

There are a lot of options — you can shop and dine around Disney Springs, hang out at your hotel pool, check out the unique restaurants at the Disney World hotels, take a boat out on Seven Seas Lagoon, and so much more. These activities are great for when you just need a break from the crowds in the parks! So, let’s see how busy the parks were this past week by looking at the wait times, so that you can try and gauge if you’re going to need a break from them on your upcoming trip.

Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 78 minutes!

After that, we had Peter Pan’s Flight at 66 minutes, Splash Mountain at 59 minutes,  Jungle Cruise at 58 minutes, Space Mountain at 50 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 41 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 38 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 38 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 35 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 33 minutes, and Pirates of the Caribbean at 27 minutes.

Next, we had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 23 minutes, “it’s a small world” at 23 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 22 minutesBarnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 17 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 17 minutes, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 15 minutes.

Then, we saw Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 13 minutesDumbo the Flying Elephant at 12 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 12 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 11 minutes.

And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Liberty Square Riverboat at 5 minutes and Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes. Rides with no waits were Country Bear Jamboree,  Tom Sawyer Island, Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Test Track at 63 minutes.

Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 60 minutes, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 60 minutes, Soarin’ at 40 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 32 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 20 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 14 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 10 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 9 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 9 minutes, Living with the Land at 9 minutes.

Most of the theater shows in EPCOT had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 128 minutes.

After that, we had Slinky Dog Dash at 86 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 73 minutesRock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 72 minutes, Tower of Terror at 64 minutes Toy Story Mania at 62 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 55 minutes.

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 32 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 20 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 13 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 12 minutes, and Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes.

Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 54 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 45 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 40 minutes, DINOSAUR at 31 minutes, Expedition Everest at 28 minutes.

Following behind was It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 10 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 6 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
