PHOTOS, VIDEO: The Groovin’ Alps German Percussion Band & Their Spoons are Back with a Smack at EPCOT

Listen to classic Bavarian folk tunes with this crazy, energetic band! The Groovin’ Alps are back at EPCOT in World Showcase. The trio is a German percussion band that uses spoons to ignite the beat!

You can grab a snack from the Germany booth and sit to watch the show at the German pavilion. The Alps booth is also nearby if you’re craving some cheesy, cheesy goodness. Showtimes can vary, but you can check the My Disney Experience app for up-to-date information.

The boys in lederhosen use a wide variety of unusual instruments to carry a clicking, ticking, bonking tune.

They use anything from drums to ladders to wooden spoons.

Who would have known that drumsticks against a wooden ladder could make such a fun noise?

These (literal) barrel drums add a deep thrum to the music.

If you stick around long enough, they might even make you dinner! Just kidding; they are making noise, not food. Pots, pans, saucepans, and kettles make a wide variety of sounds, and their acting makes this part super entertaining.

But of course, the spoons are the crowd’s favorites.

We are thrilled to see more live entertainment back at EPCOT World Showcase. Make sure you stop to see the Groovin’ Alps!
