PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 6/28/22 (New Limited Release Pin, Construction Updates Galore, & More)

Good Morning! We’re spending the day at the Magic Kingdom. We hope you enjoy following along with our day.

We started our day off hopping onto the resort monorail. Crews are continuing to remove debris where the Spirit of Aloha Building once stood. This demolition is to make way for the new Disney Vacation Club Wing.

It’s a picture perfect day here at Magic Kingdom. So far the crowds are light.

The Harmony Barber Shop is reopening July 31, 2022. We stopped by to see if any changes have been made to the exterior. Reservations opened today to the public and all time slots are fully booked through August 8.

In the Emporium, we found Buzz Lightyear & Sox figures. This set was previously found in Disneyland.

There are plenty of the limited release patriotic MagicBands available for purchase in The Emporium.

The two new “Star Wars” mugs inspired by the planets of Nevarro and Naboo are still available at the Main Street Bakery Starbucks in Magic Kingdom.

The new Main Street Electrical Parade Dooney & Bourke Collection is almost all still available in Uptown Jewelers. The tote bag was currently out of stock.

Meeting Mickey Mouse was a very popular choice among guests this morning. Minnie Mouse will be joining Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater soon.

In Curtain Call Collectables we found this new Minnie Mouse pin.

A day at Magic Kingdom wouldn’t be complete without a ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and lucky for us it was a walk on.

Riding the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, we could see the construction crews working on TRON Lightcycle / Run.

Construction crews were also working on the exterior of Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.

We were stuck on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover for a little bit. Too bad we didn’t get stuck with a better view.

The Barnstormer was only a 5 minute wait and we couldn’t pass it up. We had a goofy good time!

Walking through Fantasyland, the painting is continuing at Mickey’s PhilarMagic.

“It’s a small world” was a 40 minute wait and the line extended all the way back to Pinocchio Village Haus.

A new 4th of July Limited Release pin was released today in the Frontier Trading Post.

The Journey Into Imagination With Figment MagicBand was available to purchase in The Frontier Trading Post.

We also found a new “Turning Red” pin at the Frontier Trading Post.

We had a blast at Magic Kingdom today. Thanks for following along!
