New Details Shared for Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista

Back in 2019, Drury Hotels announced that it would be opening its first hotel in the Disney Springs area of Walt Disney World. Reservations for the new hotel opened earlier this year for dates beginning in October of 2022.

We have learned that the hotel is expected to begin its first phase of welcoming guests on October 27, 2022; 264 guest rooms out of a proposed 604 will open in phase one.

Drury Plaza Hotel is located in the former Best Western Lake Buena Vista space, which is being upgraded and rebranded. The hotel will boast a new 14-story guest tower, 17,000 square feet of meeting facilities, and more entertainment space when it opens.

According to the Orlando Business Journal, the property will include a Starbucks, a Pizza Hut Express, and two onsite restaurants. Details on the two new onsite restaurants have not been shared at this time.
