What’s New in EPCOT: Pride Has Arrived and Food & Wine Is Gearing Up to Follow!

It seems like things are constantly changing over at EPCOT!

EPCOT

We just saw the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction launch into action, and now we’re seeing more progress on the construction of Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, as well as preparations for the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. And with so much going on, we popped into EPCOT to bring you the latest updates!

EPCOT General Updates

Food & Wine Booths

It’s almost time for the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and it looks like Disney is already gearing up for the special season (despite the fact that this year’s Flower & Garden Festival isn’t quite over yet!). We saw some new booths arrive, like what we believe to be the India Booth. Here, you’ll be able to get Warm Indian BreadKorma Chicken, and Madras Red Curry.

Looks like India

We also saw one that we think is for Greece, where you’ll be able to nom on SpanakopitaGriddled Cheese, and Lamb Moussaka.

Probably Greece

We saw quite a few booths pop up, so check out our post here, which lists all the booths we’ve seen so far!

See which Food & Wine booths have already popped up in EPCOT!

New Benches

We saw new benches added to the area between Connections Café and Eatery and Creations Shop! Since this spot is in the shade (and under cover from the rain), it’s a great place to take a quick break.

New Benches

And that wraps up all of our general updates!

EPCOT Construction Updates

Japan Pavilion

Construction on the pavement in the Japan Pavilion is still in limbo. As you can see, Disney is still working on this area, which will hopefully be completed soon.

Umm…OK?

The unfinished updates don’t look great yet, but the area isn’t closed off, so they shouldn’t impact your visit to World Showcase too much.

Germany Pavilion

There’s still a square covering a small section of Germany’s Little Village bridge.

Covered Section

But you can walk on the other parts of the bridge to check out the miniature city in the meantime.

Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana

It looks like construction is moving forward smoothly! During our visit, we saw some more cranes, rock formations, and scaffolding!
