If you’re visiting Disney World with a big group, you’re probably dealing with all kinds of scheduling issues trying to coordinate everyone.

You might think that restaurants aren’t possible for a big group in Disney World, but that’s not true! There are a number of restaurants that are more accommodating for large groups, and we have a list of six of them that you might want to consider on your next trip.

Keep in mind that most Disney World restaurants can accept large parties in advance, but if you’re looking for the best experience, you might want to try one of these restaurants! Also, make a note that you have to book your reservations separately if you have a party of more than eight people. That means you might have to book a few reservations to include everyone in your group! Now let’s get into our list.

‘Ohana

‘Ohana is located in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and you can grab an all-you-can-eat, family-style meal for breakfast or dinner. This restaurant is in a great location for a large group for a variety of reasons, such as its close proximity to Magic Kingdom, but also because it’s not located in a Disney Park. A large group might have different plans, and not everyone may have park tickets for the same days. ‘Ohana doesn’t require a park ticket!

Guests are served unlimited skillets, which is helpful when everyone in your group has a different appetite level, plus the menu has a wide variety of foods to choose from, so even the pickiest eaters can be satisfied.

Whispering Canyon Cafe

Whispering Canyon Cafe is another hotel restaurant that’s great for large groups! It’s located inside Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and it’s known for its fun, loud atmosphere — which can be REALLY important if you have a large, noisy group! Whispering Canyon Cafe is known especially for playful hijinx, including snarky Cast Members, ketchup bottle shenanigans, and even stick-horse races, though some of these antics have been mellowed due to COVID-19 policies.

Whispering Canyon Cafe serves all-you-care-to-enjoy signature skillets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with omelettes and frittatas for breakfast and crowd-favorite dishes like burgers, brisket, pork belly, and more for lunch and dinner.

Biergarten

If you want to celebrate Oktoberfest in EPCOT, visit Biergarten for a German buffet! Not only can you eat, but you can also enjoy live polka music and even dancing when permitted. The long communal tables are also set up well for large groups, with plenty of space to seat everyone in your party.

Seating in Biergarten

This isn’t the spot to get a quiet meal, but that can be great for a loud group! You can visit for lunch or dinner for unlimited and authentic German food, including bratwurst, pork schnitzel, Bavarian cheesecake, and even apple strudel made fresh everyday. If you’re already in EPCOT, Biergarten would be a great place for your group to stop and enjoy a meal.

Boma — Flavors of Africa

Looking for a buffet with a lot of flavor? Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge is a DFB favorite spot for breakfast or dinner, where you can enjoy an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet featuring flavors from over 50 different African countries. The restaurant is designed to resemble an African market, and you can find both adventurous foods and typical American eats.

And after you’ve eaten all the incredible food you can fit in your stomach, you can also check out animals in the Animal Kingdom Lodge savanna after your meal! Animal Kingdom Lodge might not have the most convenient location, but it doesn’t require a park ticket and it could be worth the bus ride for your group.

Chef Mickey’s

Check Mickey’s is another all-you-care-to-enjoy hotel restaurant where you can find character dining! Food is served family-style, and you can grab breakfast or dinner and meet Mickey and several of his pals in their chef outfits.

Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue

And finally, if you want to go big, the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue dinner show is an awesome option for large groups! The food is all-you-care-to-enjoy, there are big tables, and you get a show too. It’s a unique experience for anyone, but it’s also a great large group atmosphere. Grab some fried chicken, BBQ ribs, strawberry shortcake, and enjoy the show!

Various Seating Arrangements

Hoop Dee Doo is located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground so you don’t need a park ticket to visit. The dinner show has been closed for some time now but it’s scheduled to reopen on June 23rd, 2022!
