There are so many ways to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!
You can grab a 50th Anniversary-inspired treat, watch a show that began in honor of the celebration, or take advantage of the overwhelming amount of merchandise that’s arrived in the parks to celebrate the special occasion. And speaking of merchandise, a new 50th Anniversary Backpack just popped up in Disney World…and it looks awfully familiar.
When Disney first released the 50th Anniversary Dooney & Bourke Collection, the bags flew off the shelves — after all, just look at that pattern featuring all of the park icons and characters!
So imagine our surprise (and excitement), when we came across the new 50th Anniversary Loungefly Backpack at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom! Doesn’t it look a bit similar?
Spotted at Emporium today! NEW 50th Anniversary Disney Parks Loungefly backpack for $85.

Perhaps it’s only a faint resemblance, but we definitely noticed the similarities in style — the bag has the same royal blue color, and includes embroidery of the 50th Anniversary logo, and Disney World Resort icons and landmarks, like the Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Mickey Mouse, the Monorail, and more!
The bag also has a front compartment and main compartment, as well as two carry handles on top! You can get it for $85.
So, if you loved the Dooney & Bourke pattern but didn’t want to shell out the cost for the designer bag, head to Magic Kingdom and pick this backpack up! And, we’ll continue to keep you updated on the newest releases and updates around Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB!
