Are the 3 NEW Colorful Treats Worth the Cash in Hollywood Studios? Our Full Reviews!

It’s officially June, and all throughout Disney World, that means new Pride Month treats!

Joffrey’s Rainbow Donut

Not only that, but Disney has also released a line of Pride-themed merchandise and we’ve even seen some Pride Month photo ops pop up here and there. Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’re kicking off Pride Month by trying some of the new, limited-time snacks offered throughout the park. Let’s check them out!

All around Disney World this June, you’ll find exclusive Pride Month eats, drinks, and even merchandise. We’re celebrating by trying some of the new eats at Hollywood Studios — starting with the Pride Cupcake from Backlot Express.

Pride Cupcake from Backlot Express

This vanilla cupcake is filled with rainbow sprinkles and berry marmalade, then topped with red berry buttercream and garnished with rainbow sprinkles, glitter, and Mickey Pride Ears.

It’s quite the bright cupcake, and is incredibly Instagram-worthy! But fair warning, the red icing will get everywhere and might even stain your hands and teeth. The vanilla cake tasted pretty standard, but the berry marmalade filling in the center was INCREDIBLE. It really made the cupcake.

The berry marmalade was so GOOD.

The white chocolate ears didn’t add much in terms of flavor but they are pretty darn cute. For $5.99, this cupcake is a bit on the pricey side for basically being a vanilla cake with some jam. With that being said, we would absolutely get it again — the marmalade was THAT good.

Look at those ears!

Next up was the Pride Cheesecake Dome from Rosie’s All-American Cafea whipped berry, white chocolate cheesecake with rainbow sparkle, graham cracker cookie crust, glazed with red white chocolate shimmer and topped with Mickey Pride Ears.

Pride Cheesecake Dome

We are OBSESSED with this dessert. The whipped berry and white chocolate cheesecake gives the whole thing a berries and cream vibe, and the graham cracker adds that buttery crunch that all good cheesecakes have. It was both extremely sweet and extremely tart.

Berry delicious.

It’s pretty large, so at $5.99 would make a pretty good deal if you want to share it, or save some for later. The berry flavor is pretty prominent, so we wouldn’t recommend for anyone who doesn’t like fruity desserts.

The white chocolate ears are a nice touch, but much like the cupcake they didn’t add much to the dessert overall.

It still tasted delicious even if it did get a little bit wet.

Unfortunately, we got caught in the rain when we were tasting this treat and it got a little bit melty — such is life when you never know what the weather will be like in Disney World! Luckily, we’ve got plenty of tips on how to survive a rainy day in the parks.

Over in Toy Story Land, we stopped by Woody’s Lunch Box to try the new Pride Lunch Box Tart.

It’s a guava-filled pastry coated in purple vanilla fondant, topped with rainbow sprinkles, sour ribbon candy, and a blue chocolate Mickey! Visually, this lunch box tart is so appealing — but how does it taste?

Pride Lunch Box Tart

Okay, we were seriously blown away by this one. It may even be our new favorite Lunch Box Tart flavor! The pastry was flaky and crumbly as always, but as soon as the guava filling hit our taste buds we were hooked. It was light and sweet, not too sugary like a lot of Disney treats.

The guava filling was top notch.

Once we took a bit with the sour ribbon candy, though, the whole thing came together and it was like a sweet and sour symphony. Lunch Box Tarts are a great value at $4.29, and this one was no different.

The sour ribbon candy was SO GOOD.

If you’re after a rich, chocolatey dessert — this isn’t the one for you. Kids may not love the sour ribbon or the tropical guava flavor, but if you’re looking for something different give this a try!

If you’re not heading to Hollywood Studios anytime soon, you can also find Pride Month treats in Disney Springs like the ones at Gideon’s Bakehouse and Amorette’s Patisserie.
