The Best Way to Spend $100 in EPCOT

If you’re heading to Disney World and looking to eat some good food, then you definitely need to stop by EPCOT.

EPCOT

The World Showcase area of the park is home to some delicious treats from cultures all around the world, and there are dozens of options to choose from. Today, we’re discussing what you should buy if you only had $100 to spend “around the world!”

Canada

Kicking off our tour of the World Showcase, let’s head on over to Canada. Here, we’re going to stop at the amazing Le Cellier and order the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup!

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup from Le Cellier

Ordered from the restaurant, the soup is $13. It’s also cheesy, warm, comforting, and worth every penny. You won’t regret this one! (And here’s a hint — it’s usually at the Canada booth during the Food & Wine Festival as well!)

United Kingdom

Looking for the perfect meal or a splittable snack? If you’re craving some fried food, then you need to stop by Yorkshire County Fish Shop and pick up the classic Fish and Chips.

Fish and Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop

For just $12.99 you’ll get an order of fried fish and french fries, and you can pick up your choice of sauce — tartar sauce or malt vinegar!

France

If you’re headed to France, you’ll find some cheaper snack options! Head to the back of the pavilion for some reasonably priced eats at EPCOT’s favorite bakery.

Baguette

Order a baguette fresh from the oven at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. These are just $3.50 each, and it’s a whole chunk of bread — what could be better?!

Japan

At the edge of the Japan Pavilion, there’s a cute little snack stand known as the Kabuki Cafe. It’s very inconspicuous, but it’s home to a surprisingly refreshing treat that you’ll definitely want to try!

Kakigori from Kabuki Cafe

Here you can order the Kakigori, which is Japanese shaved ice. They have a variety of flavors to choose from for $5.50, but we’re going to go ahead and get ours with sweet milk topping for $7. It’s perfect for a hot Florida day!

American Adventure

Hearty, meaty, carb-loaded, and savory — all words that we would use to describe Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich from Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Adventure.

Beef Brisket Sandwich

Not only is this sandwich smothered in Spicy Mop Sauce, but it’s also served on two pieces of garlic toast! You also get to choose a side for the $13.49 price — we recommend the mac and cheese.

Mac and Cheese

I mean…DROOL am I right?! 🤤

Italy

In the Italy Pavilion, we suggest heading to Tutto Gusto, the wine cellar. There are a few different drinks on the menu, in addition to some food options you may enjoy. One of our favorites is the Tagliere, basically an Italian charcuterie board.

There’s a similar charcuterie board at Tutto Italia as well!

The board comes with a variety of meats and cheeses and costs $39, but it’s made to serve 2 people. So, for the purpose of our calculations, we’ll price it at $20 and assume you bring a friend along to share it with!

Germany

One of our favorite places to grab a snack in the World Showcase is Karamell Kuche, the Werther’s caramel store in the Germany Pavilion. There’s a whole bakery case of caramel treats to choose from inside this shop, but the most classic is the Werther’s Caramel Popcorn. This is starting to show up in more places around the parks. But we still think it’s an EPCOT staple.

We’re tempted just by looking at this bag!

You can grab a bag of this popcorn for $6.99 and you won’t regret it! Plus, you can reseal the bag and take it home if you don’t finish it all.

Norway

In Norway, you’ll need to stop by Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe to try the School Bread…it’s one of our DFB favorites!

School Bread with a ‘Frozen’ makeover!

It’s a rather divisive treat, but those who love it are big fans. You can get one on your next visit for $4.49, and that toasted coconut and creme filling may tempt you to come back again and again.

Mexico

And last on our list, those who drink will want to end the trip around the world with a visit to La Cava del Tequila in Mexico. Here you can get the famous La Cava Avocado — the avocado margarita!

It’s a very popular drink!

It may sound strange, but it’s a must-have if you like both avocado and margarita flavors. It’ll cost you $17, which is just the right amount to round out our budget!

All in all, that brings us to a total of $98.71, and we had a truly spectacular day, if we may say so ourselves! Honestly, we can’t wait to get to EPCOT and try out this list in its entirety. Stay tuned to DFB for more food and snack tips for Disney World!
