Showtimes Reduced for ‘A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King’ Starting June 27 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Starting June 27, “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” will be performed four times a day instead of seven or eight at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Right now, the show is being performed at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. On Saturdays, the show is also performed at 1:00 p.m.

From June 27 onwards, the show will be performed at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. On July 2 and 3, Independence Day weekend, the show is scheduled for all eight performance times again. Showtimes are not available for after July 9.

The reason for the reduced showtimes is unknown. The tumble monkeys will be returning to the show soon, and the birds will once again take to the air.
