REVIEW: Why Drink A Piña Colada When You Can EAT It at Disney World?

Well, we’re here again…

Salt & Straw

Yep, we’re back at Salt & Straw in Disney Springs — AGAIN — trying yet another ice cream flavor because, hey, that’s what we do! We are in LOVE with this ice cream shop that JUST opened recently in Disney World — it’s given us some of the most unique ice cream flavors we’ve ever tried. Today, we’re back with another flavor!

Today’s flavor is the Roasted Pineapple Coconut Sherbet. This vegan ice cream is made with roasted pineapple blended with coconut creamLike the previous vegan flavor we tried here, we would have not known this was vegan from its taste.

We couldn’t tell this was vegan!

If we could describe the flavor, we’d say it was a Piña Colada in ice cream form. You know, just everything we love about summer flavors. The coconut makes for a strong flavor, though, so you will have to really like coconut to appreciate this — there are even actual shavings of coconut in it. YUM.

VERY coconutty

Overall, this one has a simple but very intense flavor that we loved! You can try it for yourself now — a single scoop is $6.95, a double scoop is $9.50, a kid’s scoop is $5.75, and a pint is $12.95.
