More Rocks Constructed For Journey of Water Inspired by ‘Moana’ at EPCOT

Rockwork continues to take shape throughout Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana,” a new walkthrough attraction coming soon to EPCOT.

Grey rockwork is now visible around several concrete structures.

The rocks are formed with wire mesh.

The structure in the background, with a long awning attached it it, has yet to receive any rockwork.

Scaffolding is in front of one structure, where rockwork was first installed.

What we see is just the base of the rock structures. Eventually, the wire mesh will not be visible and the rocks will be painted.

Water features will also pour through the rocks.

Several wooden and steel poles stick out of the ground, possibly outlining where more rockwork will go.

Not much has been added to the taller steel tower structure in the background.

Here is a closer look at that structure from another angle.

Some of the pipes we previously saw in the ground have been fully buried.

Scaffolding sits inside the open concrete structure partially in the ground.

Several excavators are around the construction site, moving dirt as work continues.
