Different Ways to Pamper Mom at Walt Disney World

With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, I wanted to discuss different ways to pamper mom on a Disney vacation. Many times in my life, we would come back from our Disney vacations, and I would hear my mom say, “I need a vacation from that vacation.” Maybe she wouldn’t have felt that way if we had just spent a day or a few hours pampering her or doing what she wanted to do.

Swan and Dolphin Hotel and Saratoga Springs

There are several spas on Disney property that offer a variety of services. My mom loves spa days; they genuinely bring her peace and help her relax. Mandara Spa is at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and they offer massages, body wraps, facials, and salon services. The least expensive massage on the menu is a 30-minute reflexology healing therapy that costs $90. The couples massage is 60-minutes and costs $170. These prices align with the Senses Spa located at Saratoga Springs Resort and The Grand Floridian Spa. At the Grand Floridian Spa, a 50-minute massage for two is $175 per person, and the signature massage, The Grand Massage, for a 50-minute session is $175. The Grand Floridian Spa also offers salon services like a Lady’s Shampoo and Blow Dry for $70 for short hair and $90 for long hair. Unfortunately, this year, the spa at Saratoga Springs has not reopened, but the one at The Grand Floridian is open. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort also has a great spa; they offer quick yet relaxing 30-minute express massages for $80. They also have a Personalized Aromatherapy Massage, and for a 50-minute session, it’s $150. When I last visited, I got the express massage, and it was fantastic. Next time I visit, I plan to get the 30-minute Refresh Facial which costs $100.

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort Pool

If the spa isn’t the way your mom likes to relax, then maybe plan a pool day on your next trip. That would be what I want, a day to just lay in the sun and hang out at the pool bar. Having a pool day feels like a nice break between running around at the parks and waking up early each day. The resort pools tend to have activities poolside and fun music playing throughout the day. Being at the pool can be relaxing and fun for the entire family. To end the pool day, I would have a nice dinner planned after a long day in the sun for my mom at a restaurant she loves. I recommend a trip to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort because being able to go between the beach and pool is a perfect way to relax.

I am not the biggest outdoorsy person, but my Stepmom is, so for her, a relaxing day or feeling pampered would be doing the horseback riding at Fort Wilderness. Fort Wilderness has a lot of fun experiences like Archery, Tri-Circle-D Ranch, Wagon rides, Canoe rentals, and Kayak rentals. The resort even offers jogging trails and a Wilderness Back Trail Adventure. The Wilderness Back Trail Adventure is a trail explored on an all-terrain Segway, and the path is filled with lush Floridian scenery. These different recreation activities can be found on the Disney website, along with the times they happen and how to make reservations for the activity. These activities are great for the more adventurous moms that enjoy being a part of nature.

If the mom in your life enjoys shopping and views it as a relaxing activity, then planning a Disney Springs day would be perfect. There are many different types of stores at Disney Springs and luxury dining options. While at Disney Springs, if your mom enjoys entertainment, you can catch a showing of Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life or see a movie at the AMC Theater.

There are many different ways to pamper and treat our moms at Walt Disney World. These are some ways that I would pamper the moms in my life, and I wanted to share my ideas with all of you.
