Can’t Get Into Be Our Guest Restaurant in Disney World? Go Here Instead!

Disney World is full of amazing restaurants!

Cinderella’s Royal Table has some beautiful decorations.

Some of those amazing restaurants are incredibly popular, like Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. We can’t blame people for wanting to dine there — the theming is unlike any other dining location around! And if you’re a big fan of Be Our Guest, then today we have another recommendation to add to your list.

If You Like Be Our Guest Restaurant…

Well, if you like Be Our Guest Restaurant, we certainly can’t argue with you! It’s one of the best themed Disney restaurants around, giving guests the option to dine in the ballroom, the castle gallery, or the west wing of the Beast’s castle. They’re seriously accurate recreations of the locations in the films!

How spectacular is the main ballroom?

And while inside, you’ll find references to the movie all around you. In fact, the snowfall outside the window is actually animation cells from the original film! The details here are very realistic, and you may even get to meet the Beast while you dine — it’s truly an experience like no other. While the food can be hit or miss, we do say that this is a great place to experience at least once in Disney World.

But if you’re looking to dine at one of Disney World’s most popular spots, there are a few things you need to know. First of all, it’s inside Magic Kingdom (fitting very well with the theme of Fantasyland, we might add!), so you’ll need a park ticket and a Disney Park Pass reservation to stop by.

They even have stunning entrance gates!

You’ll also want to snag a dining reservation ahead of time. Like we mentioned above, this is one of the most popular places to eat, and it books up months in advance. This is one of the dining reservations that you’ll want to make 60 days out from your trip (and wake up a bit before 6AM EST to book!). If you miss getting a reservation, you can always try Mobile Dine Walk-Up Waitlist on the day of your visit, but make sure to get your name on the list very early in the morning.

Stop by the podium to see if there is availability or check the My Disney Experience app!

And the big kicker is the price. Be Our Guest Restaurant used to serve three different pricing tiers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but now only serves a prix fixe meal for lunch and dinner. And you can get a few options at brunch. You’ll be paying $62 per adult and $37 per child, and that price doesn’t include tax and tip! With your meal, you get the choice of one appetizer, one entree, and then you get a trio of desserts (including the Grey Stuff).

Fun!

Like we mentioned briefly above, recently, the restaurant has been opening at 10AM, and if your reservation is between 10AM and noon, there are a couple of off-menu brunch dishes you can try (we love a secret Disney World menu)!

But if you’re reading this and you can’t score a Be Our Guest reservation, don’t want to pay the hefty price, or you love Be Our Guest and want to try something similar, then we have a recommendation for you!

…Then You Might Like Enchanted Rose

Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, there’s an alternate choice for Beauty and the Beast fans — Enchanted Rose Lounge! This lounge spot opened in 2019 at the former location of Mizner’s Lounge in the main building of the resort. Here, you can dine in the Signature Bar, the Garden Room, the Library, or the Outdoor Patio.

It’s absolutely stunning in here!

We have found that it’s much easier to get into Enchanted Rose than it is to get into Be Our Guest. First of all, you won’t need a reservation since it’s a lounge, and you also won’t need a park ticket since it’s at a resort. The difficult part about this spot is that you will have to travel there. You can arrive by monorail from the Contemporary, the Polynesian, or Magic Kingdom, or you can take Disney transportation from the other parks or Disney Springs. If you’re driving and parking directly, you’ll need to inform the guard at the gate that you plan to dine at Enchanted Rose, although you may have some difficulty without a dining reservation.

Welcome to the Enchanted Rose!

Another perk of visiting Enchanted Rose is that it won’t take up your valuable park time. You can stop by here after the park closes or on your “off” day in the afternoon and evening. Be Our Guest Restaurant is a pretty long meal that will take up a good chunk of your park day, and if you’re spending money on tickets, you’ll want to make the most of that time!

Drink Mixing Cart

But the biggest bonus may be the price! Like you’d expect from a lounge, there are a variety of cocktails and adult beverages to choose from, but from 5PM-10PM you can order food as well. All the menu items are currently priced between $14-$19, and they are great to share or to eat as entrees on their own. They have everything from Crab Macaroni & Cheese to Mini Smoked Brisket Sliders to a cheese plate (you knew we wouldn’t forget the cheese plate)!

House-Made Flatbread

And if the theming of Be Our Guest catches your eye, you’ll love checking out all the details here. Throughout the various rooms, the materials, colors, and decor are inspired by Beauty and the Beast, and you’ll notice nods specifically to the live-action film. It’s not quite as immersive as Be Our Guest, but it’s subtle and elegant — likely something that adults will appreciate. (And don’t forget to look out for some fan-favorite characters in the library!)

There are plenty of hidden details in the library.

Speaking of a place that adults would love, this is the perfect place to get that Disney theming while avoiding the loud hustle and bustle of a popular Magic Kingdom restaurant. Kids are welcome to visit Enchanted Rose, but you’ll find fewer families with small children here, so it’s quieter and more relaxed. It’s also open later in the evening, so it’s a fabulous way to end the night.
