A day at Disney World can be SO magical, but it can also be a LOT to handle, especially for the kiddos.

Magic Kingdom

Between the heat, the crowds, the MILES of walking, and the departure from normal routines, a day at a Disney park can be challenging for everyone. If your little Disney fan has sensory issues, adding potentially uncomfortable clothing to the mix is not ideal — an un-comfy Mickey t-shirt is STILL an un-comfy t-shirt. Fortunately, Disney has a solution: a line of sensory-friendly kids’ t-shirts that you can find online AND in the parks!

We previously spotted items from the sensory-friendly collection online, but now we’re starting to see pieces appear at Walt Disney World as well. Today in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, our team noticed this cute Star Wars t-shirt in the children’s section.

Sensory-friendly Star Wars tee shirt.

The shirt features R2-D2 and C-3PO peering around some rocks with the words “Adventure Awaits” above them. It’s a cute tee for a day at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but what caught our team’s eye today was the little sticker on it.

Sensory-friendly shirt label.

As the label reads, the shirt is part of Disney’s sensory-friendly collection, so the tee shirt is made with flat seams, tear-away tags, and a soft-to-the-touch material. The shirt features a wide crew neck opening, polyester-cotton-viscose knit fabric, and short sleeves. The shirt is priced at $19.99 and is available in kids’ sizes 3-14.

If you aren’t headed to the parks anytime soon, you can also grab the shirt online. shopDisney is currently offering $10 off select kids’ tees when you buy 2, so you might also want to check out other tees in this collection!

If your kiddo prefers island vibes to outer space, they have a sensory-friendly Moana t-shirt as well.

This tee features the same tag-free, soft, flat-seamed design and text that reads “Find your own way.” It’s priced at $19.99 and is also part of the $10 off promotion!
