REVIEW: Would You Pay $4 for a Dressed Up Strawberry in Disney World?! We Need to Know

Spring has sprung at Disney World!

BoardWalk Bakery

The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom, the Easter egg hunt at EPCOT is underway, and Easter snacks (we’re talking LOADS of cute bunny butts on treats, y’all) have arrived. Now, we’re heading over to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn for even MORE snacks!

We’re making our way over to BoardWalk Bakery, which is baking up some delicious Easter treats, including three new snacks. First, there’s the Chocolate-covered Strawberry ‘Carrots’, which are Strawberries dipped in orange-colored white chocolate and striped to resemble carrots.

Chocolate-Covered Strawberry “Carrot”

We thought these strawberries were really fresh and delicious (and super adorable, of course!), but for $4 per strawberry, they were a little on the pricier side, and we’re not sure if it was worth it for the price. We’d love your thoughts. Is $4 too much for a single strawberry in Disney World?!

They are adorable, though!

Another new treat arriving this year is the Easter Moon Pie, which is sugar cookies with marshmallow filling, dipped in semisweet chocolate and decorated with holiday décor.

Easter Moon Pie

We really enjoyed the Easter Moon Pie! We thought it was a good deal for the price, because for $4.29 you get a pretty big snack! We also loved the homemade marshmallow inside.

The whole thing is dipped in chocolate, which melted pretty fast and got kind of messy, but other than that, we really enjoyed this treat! If you’re someone who loves marshmallow, we think you’ll really like this.

The third new treat is the Coconut Macaroon Nest. This is a traditional giant coconut macaroon with pastel chocolate and sprinkles and candy Easter eggs.

We also thought the Coconut Macaroon Nest was delicious! The coconut was fresh and light, and the Easter decorations on top really send it over the edge. Our reporter assumed the candy Easter eggs would be like malted milk eggs, but they were actually sugar eggs, which added a nice crunch to the macaroon.

This macaroon is $5.29 and someone who likes coconut will love this, but if you’re not a coconut fan, we would get the moonpie instead.

You can also grab Easter versions of a Cannoli and Mickey Brownie here! These treats are all available through April 17th.

We’ll be trying out even MORE Easter treats at Disney World, so be sure to stick around for more reviews!
