PHOTOS: Tour a Standard Room at the All-Star Sports Resort in Disney World

After a several months-long closure, All-Star Sports Resort has finally reopened in Disney World!

All-Star Sports

All-Star Sports is one of three All-Star Resorts, along with All-Star Music and All-Star Movies. These resorts are Value hotels and are some of the cheapest Disney hotel rooms you can get. Of course, the price fluctuates throughout the year, but these rooms are often available for around $200 per night.

We recently took a look inside one of the standard rooms at All-Star Sports, so here’s a tour of the room! This room is located in the Surf’s Up! section of the hotel that is all about surfing! The standard rooms feature two double beds with a view of the courtyard, pool, or parking lot.

Two Double Beds

Since this room was in the Surf’s Up! section, when we stepped outside, we had views of the surfing theming.

The door to the room opens up onto an outdoor hallway and includes the standard door handle, deadbolt, and security guard. There was also an “Off to Neverland” hang tag on the door so you can let Cast Members know you’re in your room and to not disturb.

When we entered, the thermostat in the room was set to a cool 68 degrees.

To the right when we entered the room was a table and two chairs.

On that table was an ice bucket…

…and, since it was the runDisney Springtime Surprise weekend, some information about how the races might affect things at Disney World.

Above the table and chairs was a round mirror and a light.

To the left of the sitting area was the television.

The TV cabinet held the television (of course), along with a mini fridge and three drawers. There were also shelves on either side of the cabinet for additional storage. On top of the cabinet was information about Disney’s enhanced cleaning measures.

Across from the TV cabinet are the two double beds.

Two beds

Each bed had four pillows each and the standard Disney bedding. The table between the two beds held a phone, the sanitized TV remote wrapped in plastic, and some information about how to keep yourself safe and your personal information confidential when staying at a hotel.

Bedside table

Each bed had a light above it in addition to the room lights.

Unlike some other Disney resorts, there is no space underneath the bed for storing suitcases or luggage.

No storage space!

Heading into the bathroom, you’ll see that the sink is separated from the shower and toilet, and the whole bathroom area is separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.

A curtain separates the bathroom from the rest of the room

Through the curtain is a sink and mirror. There are some towels hanging here, as well.

To the left, was the shower and toilet, with a door that could close to provide more privacy.

The tile on both the floor and in the shower is checkered, and the shower curtain features Mickey and other characters playing sports.

Mounted inside the shower are the fan-favorite Disney H2O toiletries.

To the right of the sink, is a small closet-type area that features some hangers, extra storage space, and some other amenities, like an ironing board and hair dryer.

Some extra space

This is also where you’ll find some extra toilet paper…

The room has a few Disney and sporty touches, like this picture of Goofy surfing…
