A new light-up ornament celebrating 50 years of Walt Disney World will be released by Hallmark on October 8, 2022 — just after the resort’s 51st anniversary.

50th Anniversary Musical Ornament With Light – $47.99

The ornament features Cinderella Castle with its 50th anniversary medallion at the front and an iridescent finish. It sits on a base of faux stone featuring Dumbo, a Mad Tea Party cup, the silhouette of the castle, and a pirate ship.

The background of the ornament is blue with golden stars, fireworks, and hidden Mickeys. Pressing the button on the bottom of the ornament will initiate a fireworks light show and play “When You Wish Upon a Star.”

The back of the base features The Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and “it’s a small world.”

The ornament requires three AAA batteries, which are not included. It is plastic and crafted by artist Robert Hurlburt. It is approximately 2.49 x 5.59 x 3.87 inches and includes a gift box.
